There’s nothing like experiencing ecovillage life first hand, but taking a virtual tour of Earthaven is a close second!

The tour highlights ways in which Earthaven is striving to be a holistic, sustainable culture. The introductory overview tour examines the concept of sustainability at Earthaven through social, ecological, and economic lenses. Not only will you get a glimpse of what has worked through time, but also hear about what has been challenging. And you will have a chance to ask questions!

Engage the soul tools of story & ritual to deepen into the fertile darkness.

Each of us is woven with stories. We are woven with the stories of our ancestors. They live in our bones and blood. And each day of our lives, we harvest more stories. Everything is story. We are storied. Story and ritual have been tools through time to invite us into deeper territories of ourselves, so that we may tend to the threads that are weaving our collective basket.

Here, in the belly of winter, we will engage an old story as a way to get in touch with and tend to our personal stories.

Sociocracy is an especially successful self-governance and decision-making method that instructor Diana Leafe Christian, community consultant and author of Creating a Life Together, now highly recommends instead of consensus. Learn the concepts and practice the skills in this lively, online workshop.

Part 1 covers Proposal-Forming, Consent Decision-Making, Evaluation, Shared Values, Vision, Mission, and Aims. The two parts can be taken in either order.
